The future of Something Catchy

I'm not sure if the last remaining Kiddies have realized this or not but, SC is failing Big fucking time. It is rare I see more then 5 usernames check this site in a week, What the fuck does that say? Everyone has abandoned ship, for the most part.

So, if any of ye actually give a rats ass about here anymore, please do share suggestions- Except ones to do with roleplay because Fuck that.

After everyone was like "YAY SC FOREVER <3" They abandoned us, I get people have lives but.. Why do that? Why couldn't people say "I have to leave" Never any notification at all, that's what really hurt.


And so I conclude this with; Do people actually Want SC to die or live?
an Admin is only part of a site, the rest is members, you can't have an active site with no members but an admin. Sorry to be so harsh but its the truth. If you don't care, speak now.

I'll be frank: If SC dies, I won't see you guys again. If you have connections to everyone you care about and have moved on from SC, fine, keep doing what you're doing.

Anyone who cares: We have work to do. SC needs a purpose and a direction. Without them, it will die. WLWe started off as a group who all knew eachother from WQ, but it isn't going to work anymore. We're stagnating here with no clear goals or focus.

Another thing this site will need badly afterwards is publicity. At the moment, it's just a sheltered corner of the Internet.

Right. I have to be honest, I don't see this place coming back. I don't mean that in a malicious way, I'm just being frank. We've revamped this place multiple times, the end result being that everyone disappears except for maybe 5 of us. I really don't want to lose you guys, but what could we possibly do to brink traffic here? We are a website built around a group of friends. There isn't much that draws in an outsider since there is no Rp and they know no one here. Unless this site gets some sort of theme, there isnt much to talk about, therefore nothing/nowhere to post. Now, if you're hell bent on lifting this place up again, I'd say advertise, and turn this place into forum central. Games, discussions, debates, threads to share videos, jokes, pictures, etc. things to do.

I must agree that it needs a purpose. We are not big on roleplaying, but that is the largest community out there thus far. There's all these roleplaying sites you see floating around, be they play by post or an actual game like WolfQuest, that is the biggest community that is the most open to new websites that have potential. Every other community, like discussion and adoptable, is not friendly to new websites, unless you got some really badass skills.

So, my suggestion is, we make SC a roleplaying website. It wouldn't be able to keep it's name of course, and wouldn't be able to go to WQ, cause, admit it, we're hated, are we not? I don't know what to say beyond that, but if you really want it to even have a chance, make it a roleplay, and maybe even move board softwares, cause forumotion is only popular among WQ.

Well, that sounds like a bad idea just because the people here don't like Rp. I love it, but not many others do, and we don't want to force our members into doing something they don't want. Except I don't have any ideas for themes. Our Rp could be non-animal based. For example, there could be a Heroes vs. Villains, there could be a wolf Rp, etc. whatever you wanted to make a Rp about.

If SC is going to die, let it die with dignity of what it once was. SC was never role-play, nor was it meant to be. It was a group of friends, and it was for fun. So, I shall say it yet again, fuck role-play mixing with SC. Its just not the right combo, never has been and I doubt it ever will be.

Unless its some sort of non-serious warriors role-play but I doubt people would like that. Annnnd also, if we change SC's name, what memories will we have left at All? That's just leaving behind what was and moving on as if SC had no impact whatsoever.

I agree, we need a purpose and a direction- But it isn't going to come from role-play, I know that much. I'm gonna repeat myself like a baboon during intercourse because, its fun; Something catchy was never meant to be a role-play site, we tried it and you know something? That failed. Yes, I know what it is currently (Nothing but a under the radar porn site, really) failed to, but that's what I see SC as, forever and always, at very least let it rest and remain intact (Like a horny dog).

Well, I can't see this place going anywhere without a drive. Sometimes things are great when they follow the old ways; sometimes things have to change. I don't think we'll make any sort of improvement without moving on/ a fresh start, but that's just me.

I've been sick for a good week now, and figured (since I'm stuck in bed) I'd see how everythings going back at SC.

Just going to say that even though I'm no longer a part of SC, I'd hate to see this place die. You guys should join some online game or something, and establish a clear place for all of you to (figuratively) play together.

Everyone should get Steam and then Team Fortress. Me and Desty chat on steam sometimes.
